Ok today nak cite pasal my recent trip to Seoul,Korea.Dah banyak kali pegi vacation & asyik berangan je nak tulis blog,tapi xpernah ada masa nak tulis.Asyik tulis padam,tulis padam,delete blog,pastu buat blog baru,pastu delete balik...Arghhhh pening2....I'm not much of a blogger actually but this time I'm determined to start coz I love to travel & hopefully dapat la share some useful info with you guys!
My trip to Seoul was in Spring (16th Apr-23rd Apr 2015).Mula-mula plan nak ke China nak tgk Great Wall,etc tapi lepas discuss dengan hubby,we decided to go to Seoul instead.Kiteorang ni memang jenis kalo travel mana2 tak pernah guna travel agent. Hahaaa poyo tak ayat??? So for those yang suka adventure atau jenis macho nak explore negara orang tanpa tour guide,bole la baca blog I ni sebagai panduan ye..tak pandai mana tapi bole la sikit2:)
Ok mula2 sekali kalo nak travel tanpa tour guide ni kene la rajin membaca & buat research. Berlambak dah bloggers yang tulis pasal Korea ni so tak perlu bazir duit untuk engage tour guide sume tu. First of all kene tau Korea ni ade 4 musim. Kalo summer tu baik xpayah pegi lah. Buang masa je sbb hot and humid! The best time in my opinion would be in spring (early March-April) or autumn (late Sept-mid Nov).Sangat2 romantic & amik gambar sure cantek2 macam postcard tau! Tak caya tengok gambar kt bawah ni..heheehhhhh
Kiteorang choose untuk pegi time Spring sebab nak tengok cherry blossom. Dulu pegi Tokyo & Osaka tak pernah ade luck nak tengok...hukhuk..So harapan tinggi menggunung this time around. Alhamdulillah akhirnya dapat jugak tengok walaupun masa tu dah hujung2 season. Yayyyyy!At first kiteorang plan nak beli tiket Air Asia sekali bile tgk ade extra charges itu ini, rasa annoyed la plak so kiteorang beli tiket MAS je, beza Rm200+ je pun,selesa pun selesa. Yeahhh support MAS!!Kos return ticket RM1,278/pax.
SEOUL-DAY 1
Sampai Incheon airport dalam pukul 7.30 pagi cmtu. Hoorayyy happy gilessss! Thank you MAS, makanan sedap!Sampai2 je airport Incheon, memang agak frust dengan system imigresen yang agak berterabur.Berbeza betol dengan airport di Jepun yang sangat2 efisien & teratur (If you've never been to Japan, go to Japan guys & you'll be amazed, trust me!).Ramai tourist yang cuba potong queue,sebab xde proper line untuk beratur..so sabo je lah..huhuuuu..Lepas je imigresen,kiteorang pegi ke convenient store dalam airport tu,beli T-Money card.T-Money card ni macam Touch N Go lah sangat convenient sebab bole pakai untuk public transportation & also beli groceries.
Untuk ke city centre daripada Incheon Airport ni ada banyak cara. Bole naik all stop train Incheon-Seoul (murah sikit) atau AREX Express Train (direct ke Seoul,takde stop2 tapi harga 8,000won/pax).So kiteorang decide untuk try AREX. Nak beli tiket AREX ni tak bole guna T-Money card.Daripada convenient store tu kene turun ke basement B2,kalo tak sure bole je tanye kat information counter yang betol2 opposite convenient store tu,tak kan sesat punye. Dah sampai basement,proceed ke mesin tiket AREX (cari signboard yang tulis express).Sorry tak sempat plak amik gambar mesin tiket AREX tu sebab kiteorang nak cepat. Dekat skrin tu die ada bagi jadual train,so kite pilih je time yang mana kite nak naik. Punyelah macho terpilih time 9:23am,sebab masa kiteorang beli tu dah pukul 9:19am.So ade 4 minit je nak berlari ke platform. Memang amazing race lah kejap masa tu..haha..Platform tu dekat je tapi kiteorang tersalah turun platform la plak,terpaksa naik escalator balik & berlari ke platform yang sepatutnye. Fuhhh nasib baik sempat naik uolssss!!!So my advice is once dah dapat tiket,tolong cek your Car & Seat No & proceed to the right platform.
Ni contoh tiket AREX, kat bawah tu ada tulis car & seat no. Jangan main bedal je naik mana2 train k.Tiket ni jangan buang tau sebab nanti ada officer yang akan dating cek & die akan bagi leaflet cara2 nak transfer ke Seoul subway.
Kalo die tak bagi, korang bole la print je pic ni awal2..So bile dah sampai Seoul station, kiteorang terus proceed ke Hoegi Station (LINE 1) untuk drop luggage kat CMS Inn Hotel.Kalo nak study pasal subway system di Seoul just refer here.

Basically hotel ni kira mcm bajet hotel la sebab bilik sangat sempit,toilet lagi la sempit,takde wardrobe & yang paling frust WIFI hampeh!! 182,000won for 3nights, not a good deal considering the tiny room. The only great thing about this hotel was the location which was very close to Hoegi station. Staff was friendly & the room was clean though. For those who are not fussy like me, then maybe you can check out this hotel. Lepas drop bag kat hotel, kiteorang pun dengan pantas cari tempat makan untuk lunch. Perut dah krik rik krik...Tak rock lah kan kalo asyik bawak sambal ikan bilis, serunding, Maggie & kawasan yang sewaktu dengannya,btol tak?? Nasib baik dah google earlier pasal Jjukkumi Bokkeum (spicy stir-fried small octopus) aka sotong pedas ni,dekat gile dengan hotel, tak perlu transfer ke LINE lain, just one station away from our hotel, at Jegi-dong station.

DIRECTIONS TO NA JEONG-SUN HALMAE JJUKKUMI (SOTONG PEDAS):-
Got this map from another blogger.There are about 10 jjukkumi restaurants here in this famous jjukkumi alley, but yang takde pork is kedai Na Jeong-sun Halmae Jjukkumi sahaja. Kedai lain ade serve pork ye. Auntie kedai ni dah tau dah kita ni muka tourist so bile masuk je sengih2 nanti die hidangkan la sotong jjukkumi tu dengan banchan (side dishes) ie. daun perilla (perilla leaves), cheonsachae (천사채) which is semi-transparent noodles made from dashima. I love the cheonsachae rasa unik & crunchy! Cara nak makan jjukkumi ni senang je either wrap dengan daun pastu makan macam sireh or nak makan sotong camtu je pun bole. But the banchan actually helps to take some of the heat off coz this is really a spicy dish! Bile sotong dekat nak habis bole la panggil auntie tu untuk tambah nasi, kadang2 auntie tu sendiri yang akan tanye nak ke tak. Die akan masak nasi atas hot plate tu campur dengan seaweed. Memang sedapppp! Dua orang makan kene dalam 22,000won camtu sebab tambah nasi.
Lepas dah kenyang kiteorang decide untuk check out cherry blossom kat Yeouido walaupun masa tu cherry blossom festival dah habis. Bile sampai sana memang rasa cam buang masa je lah coz nothing interesting, so we took a bus back to Seoul station. From Seoul station, naik subway back to hotel, checked in & rest. Untuk dinner kiteorang ingat nak try another famous grilled fish spot kat Dongdaemun. Sampai kedai dalam pukul 8pm lebih tengok2 auntie tu tengah bersihkan kedai..uwaaaa.. sedihhhh btol takde rezeki! So perut pun dah lapar kiteorang cari la kedai lain plak yang bole dimakan. Nasib baik jumpa a few places yang bole dimakan. We saw Lotteria (fast food), and 2 other restaurants at the same lane cuma kene jalan ke dalam sikit. One seafood restaurant & the other one was a Halal Indian restaurant. Korang bole la cuba kalo ade kat area Dongdaemun ni, just next to the shopping malls Good Morning, APM tu.

So in the end kiteorang decide untuk makan kat Lotteria je, jimat sikit hehehhh..2 sets of wild shrimp burger dalam 14,000won. Sedap!Lepas tu makan plak Korean pancake ade jual seberang jalan je from Lotteria tu. Alhamdulillah kenyang & happy. Balik hotel zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
